Tranquility Ocean Adventures
Tranquility Ocean Adventures is a nonprofit sailing and ocean outreach organization. They needed a web platform that could support their community, tell their story, and handle the operational side of running sailing programs, all in one place.
I built a fully custom platform tailored to how the organization actually works. Members can submit their own stories and experiences through a community submission system, with a moderation workflow so the team reviews everything before it goes live. There's a memorial page with an editorial process for honoring members who've passed. Sailing trip applications are gated by role so only the right people can access and manage them. A discussion forum gives the community a space to connect. And a collaboration interest pipeline feeds directly into the team's Google Sheets so inquiries never get lost.
The design is built from scratch, not pulled from a template. Full-bleed ocean photography, translucent navigation that fades as you scroll, interactive flip cards, and a light/dark theme toggle. It looks and feels like the organization it represents.
This is an active client relationship. I built the platform through an iterative process driven by direct feedback from the team, and I continue to maintain, update, and expand it. Staging and production environments run on separate domains so we can test changes safely before anything goes live.
